The Lighthouse in Hudson Bend is a multi-purpose Christian community center with activities including AA meetings, youth groups, live Christian concerts, etc. Luke 4:18's goal in renting this former saloon which had been a source of drugs and violence in the Hudson Bend area was to reclaim the ground which had been stolen by the enemy. We had prayerwalked this territory .... and then the Lord opened up the opportunity to lease this nasty old saloon and take back the territory for the Kingdom.

It's now been turned into an outreach to the community for Bible classes, AA and NA classes,
concerts, training seminars, prayer meetings. An Austin church recently used the Lighthouse as a base for entry-level mission training for their youth.

The goal was to provide light into this community and to bring the Body together to serve. Neighbors
have been touched with Blessfests and free Thanksgiving and Christmas feasts and gifts, provided by local churches. It's also the home of Healthy's, Austin's first healthy fast food chain, a Kingdom minded business which helps support this
ministry. It's a marketplace/ministry cooperative
effort.
